Surgeons of Hope 2025 Gala

Join us for our Annual Charity Gala, a heartfelt celebration aimed at inspiring change and raising vital funds to deliver life-saving heart procedures for children with heart defects in Latin America.

This year, we aim not only to support our ongoing programs but also to launch our most ambitious project yet in Paraguay: training 6 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, 13 cardiologists, 9 intensivists, and over 20 nurses. Our visiting team will balance their caseload by performing half of the more complex surgeries while the other half will focus on observing and guiding the local surgeons. This collaboration will enable local surgeons to practice the techniques they have learned during previous missions. The impact of this plan is immeasurable.

This transformative initiative will improve the learning journey of every participant of the programe. With a total funding requirement of $150,000, we aim to perform around 80 life-saving surgeries at a cost of less than $2,000 each, compared to the typical U.S. price range of $150,000 to $300,000.
